Yes, Leppert-Nutmeg does charge an inspection fee to cover the cost of the disassembly and inspection of a motor, generator, or other component. If a customer chooses to move forward with repairing the inspected item, or buys new from Leppert-Nutmeg, the inspection fee will be waived.

Leppert-Nutmeg provides emergency services twenty-four hours a day and seven days a week. If an emergency arises, call our main office at (860) 243-1737 to be connected to an on-call Leppert-Nutmeg employee. We do not use an answering service and instead use on-call employees so that we can provide the most timely and accurate emergency services to our customers.

Leppert-Nutmeg will provide updates after we have completed the motor/generator's initial disassembly and inspection, and when work is complete and your motor/generator is ready for delivery. If you would like any additional updates, please let your Sales Representative know, and Leppert-Nutmeg will provide you with an up-to-date status.

Leppert-Nutmeg offers free* pickup and delivery services in the state of Connecticut and the Springfield, Massachusetts area. New motors purchased through Leppert-Nutmeg are also delivered free of charge from our facility to yours, though Leppert-Nutmeg does typically incur freight charges for delivery from the warehouse to our facility. Our proposals will always state if freight is additional, included, or free. As always, any specific questions regarding pickup and delivery, cost, and timelines should be directed to a Sales Representative by calling our shop at (860) 243-1737, or by contacting them directly through their profiles on the Sales page. * Free, unless the motor/generator requires special transportation requirements, including but not limited to wide load, over height, etc.

On-site work does require scheduling coordination. If the shop is experiencing a high volume of motor repairs, some flexibility in timing may be required, depending on the scope of the job.
