Leppert-Nutmeg Finishes Hydro Generator Repair at Stevenson Dam Hydro Station

Recently, Leppert-Nutmeg concluded an 8333 KVA hydroelectric generator stator rewind and rotor field re-insulation job at FirstLight Power's Stevenson Dam Hydro Station in Monroe, Connecticut. Our team worked diligently to achieve FirstLight Power's goals and to get their hydroelectric generator up and running again.

Thank you to Houghton International, who manufactured the high voltage stator coils, and to Swiger Coil Systems, a division of Wabtec Corporation, who abated the asbestos field coils and reinsulated them. Another thank you to The Gund Company who provided the ripple springs, stator wedges, and rotor pole collars. Thank you to all of our vendors for making this project a success.
